Hi, has anyone had success using SPSS with Zoom Text and JAWS?

How about using SPSS with other accessibility programs?

Thanks.

I have had moderate success with SPSS and jaws, though I needed the assistance of a sighted person to get the mouse to where it needed to be. All in all, I wasn't too pleased with the program, although it apparently has a script to work with jaws. I'm not exactly technologically inclined, though...

I've also used sighted assistance, but rather use the program on my own.

From what I hear, the scripts are not that good, and I wonder if they have been updated?

Any information on this topic would be helpful, as I know that the program is used in most research situations.

When I was heavily involved in research which is about a year ago now, there was no way of making the programme completely successful with Jaws. I haven't heard anything to suggest this situation has changed.

Has anyone used an alternative to SPSS which has greater accessibility?

Have you heard of SASS? I don't think it's received the same attention as SPSS has, but I wouldn't know. In its functionality, I believe it's similar to SPSS. I know how frustrating it is to need sighted assistance to use it though, and am very glad that my stats days have come to an end.
